Last season, quarterback Mac Jones started more than half of the team’s games. One of his leading receivers was four-year New England Patriots starting receiver Kendrick Bourne. After the first month of the year, former Patriots draft pick Keion White was sent out west for a sixth-round pick in this month’s NFL Draft.
This offseason, the 49ers signed former starting offensive lineman Vederian Lowe, and on Friday evening, they added yet another former Patriot. Adam Schefter announced on X that the 49ers would be signing cornerback Jack Jones, who was drafted by the Patriots and most recently played for the division rival Miami Dolphins. Dolphins free agent cornerback Jack Jones is signing a one-year deal with the 49ers, per his agent Drew Rosenhaus.
