The Eagles' decision to acquire Dontayvion Wicks from the Packers could have a ripple effect on how Philadelphia approaches the 2026 NFL Draft. Philadelphia has the No. 23 overall pick and has been linked to several high-profile wideouts amid rumors that the team will move on from A.

J. Brown after June 1. Coming into the offseason, wide receiver was quietly viewed as a position the Eagles could target early, especially with long-term questions surrounding the depth chart.

But adding Wicks—an ascending, cost-controlled receiver —gives the front office more flexibility. That roster and draft flexibility is key for a team that traditionally builds through the trenches.
