New FSU wide receiver target schedules official visit with Seminoles
New wide receiver target Namajay Thompson has scheduled an official visit with the FSU Seminoles.
The Florida State Seminoles officially entered the race for three-star wide receiver Namajay Thompson on Thursday, hosting him on a visit and extending him a scholarship offer . That has caused them to become a key school in his recruitment, and he has already scheduled his return visit. Thompson will be back in Tallahassee on June 5 for an official visit, according to Chris Nee of Noles247 .
He wil also take official visits to see the Wake Forest Demon Deacons (May 29), Alabama Crimson Tide (June 12), and Michigan State Spartans (June 19) this summer. He was originally set to visit the Duke Blue Devils on June 5. The 5-foot-11.
5, 180-pounder is from Shelby, North Carolina, and competes in track as well as football. He had a productive junior season, catching 53 passes for 865 yards and 13 touchdowns. He also returned a punt for a touchdown.
Thompson is ranked as the No. 539 overall player and No. 66 wide receiver in the 247Sports composite.
