Commanders' DE disrespects Lamar Jackson while praising Josh Allen
Charles Omenihu praises Josh Allen while stating the NFL has 'figured Lamar Jackson out.'
When the free-agency frenzy began, Charles Omenihu wasn't one of the headline names. Still, the veteran has built a respectable career across multiple stops, most recently landing a one-year deal with the Washington Commanders. The Baltimore Ravens know him pretty well.
Over the years, they've seen him very rarely. He has been on the wrong side of a couple of lopsided losses delivered by Baltimore to the Houston Texans . He has been part of a Kansas City Chiefs team that handed Baltimore a crushing home playoff loss, catapulting the Chiefs to football's biggest game and eventually to another Vince Lombardi Trophy.
When he recently appeared on Speakeasy with Emmanuel Acho, no one had any reason to think much of it until he drew a parallel, mentioning both Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson. At first, there was nothing controversial. Omenihu offered praise for Josh Allen, something few would argue with, but in the same breath, he added another entry to the long list of questionable takes surrounding Lamar Jackson.
