Wicks will also sign a 1-year, $12.5 million extension with Philadelphia.

The Philadelphia Eagles are reportedly acquiring wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks from the Green Bay Packers for a 2026 fifth-round pick and a 2027 sixth-round pick, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefte r. As part of the trade, the 24-year-old Wicks will sign a one-year, $12. 5 million extension with Philadelphia.

He was coming to the end of his rookie deal after the 2026 NFL season, which will see him earn $3. 6 million. Last season, Wicks made 30 receptions for 332 yards and two touchdowns.

Wicks is the second receiver leaving Green Bay this offseason after Romeo Doubs signed a four-year, $68 million contract with the New England Patriots after free agency opened in March. He was expendable due to the Packers' wide receiver room, which offers Jordan Love plenty of options in Christian Watson, Jayden Reed, Matthew Golden, Bo Melton, Skyy Moore, and Savion Williams, along with tight ends Tucker Craft and Luke Musgrave. Wicks was selected in the fifth-round of the 2023 NFL Draft by the Packers out of Virginia.

In three seasons with the Packers he caught 108 passes for 1,328 yards and 11 touchdowns.
