The Jaguars have met virtually with a wide receiver draft prospect out of Miami.
Wide receiver could certainly be a position on the Jacksonville Jaguars' radar during the 2026 NFL draft, and one prospect who may have GM James Gladstone's attention is Miami's CJ Daniels. In an interview with Sports Illustrated's Justin Melo , Daniels mentioned that he had a virtual meeting with the Jaguars after the NFL combine. As we discussed recently, the Jaguars won't be hosting prospects on official pre-draft visits.
Jaguars' 2026 NFL draft prospect to watch: WR CJ Daniels Daniels played six collegiate seasons, spending four at Liberty, the 2024 season at LSU, and last season with Miami. In the SEC, Daniels caught 42-of-56 passes for 480 yards. In 2025, with Miami, Daniels hauled in 50 of his 67 targets for 557 yards with an impressive seven touchdowns.
Most of his snaps have come lined up outside. He's played hardly any special teams snaps during his career. Daniels is the 214th ranked played on the consensus big board , making him a potential later Day 3 pick or UDFA.
