Jewell Loyd is running in back with the Aces for multiple years.

Last offseason, the Las Vegas Aces acquired Jewell Loyd to help the team get back to its championship-winning ways. That partnership โ€” while initially rocky โ€” ultimately proved to be successful, leading to Loyd reportedly re-upping with the team on a three-year deal, according to ESPN. Loyd, 32, is reportedly finalizing the deal.

The financial details of her new contract were not immediately available. BREAKING: 3x WNBA Champion and 6x All-Star, Jewell Loyd, is finalizing a three-year deal with the Las Vegas Aces. pic.

Loyd struggled to put up her usual numbers in the teamโ€™s first 25 games, posting lower-than-normal shooting percentages over that period.

But that changed during a July 27 game vs. the Dallas Wings, when Loyd came off the bench. She dropped 20 points in that contest, one of her highest single-game totals during the regular season, and remained in that role the rest of the way.
