He faces former interim title challenger Curtis Blaydes on Saturday’s main card, setting the tone before Jiri Prochazka takes on Carlos Ulberg for the light heavyweight championship. ‘The Incredible Hok’ made some noise during media day earlier in fight week, and he kept that going at the press conference. It was the kind of behaviour that’s become familiar, especially since Hokit started modelling himself after outspoken fighters like Colby Covington and Chael Sonnen following his Dana White’s Contender Series contract in 2025. “I will never understand how Dan Hooker can like another man when you can come to the sand and see a nice booty with a nice tan,” Hokit said on stage before turning his attention to Blaydes. “Curtis doesn’t use his head.
And judging by his bottom lip, his tongue is probably dead. ” Blaydes didn’t look impressed, nor did many others in the room. The boos were already ringing out when he responded.
