ONE Friday Fights 150 Main Event Result: Attachai Carves Up Kompet In Surgical Statement Win
The 23-year-old stayed one step ahead against his fellow Thai in this Asia primetime war in Bangkok.
Attachai Kelasport announced his return to the global stage in style, as he picked apart Kompet Sitsarawatsuer across three rounds in the strawweight Muay Thai main event of ONE Friday Fights 150 on April 10. Both men opened with technical precision in this Asia primetime showdown inside Bangkok’s iconic Lumpinee Stadium just hours before the global fanbase turns its attention to ONE Fight Night 42: Mann vs. Dzhabrailov on Prime Video .
Kompet used feints and jabs to gauge distance, while his fellow Thai stayed light on his feet and found his rhythm with well-timed lead kicks. It was Attachai who seized control first. A sharp teep knocked Kompet off balance, and when the Sitsarawatseur product tried to claw back momentum with power shots, the 23-year-old made him pay with a precise right hook counter.
The two-time Lumpinee Stadium World Champion showed his class late in the round, however, surging back with slick one-two combinations to make it a close opener. In the second frame, Kompet came out with aggression in abundance. That said, Attachai shelled up but stayed busy and caught the surging 26-year-old through the slightest of openings with pinpoint right hands.
The Boxing Army 3 representative then uncorked a left high kick that snaked past Kompet’s guard and sent him to the ropes. Attachai smelled blood and swarmed with hooks in search of a knockout. Kompet’s veteran experience kept him upright, but he was on shaky legs heading into the final round.
