Kenny Moore II, Colts agree to seek trade: Top landing spots for CB
Kenny Moore II and the Colts have agreed to seek a trade for the CB. Here's a look at some of the top landing spots for the Pro Bowl player.
Kenny Moore II and the Indianapolis Colts are backed into a corner. With scheme fit and roster gymnastics presenting an issue for the Pro Bowl cornerback, the only way forward is to part ways. Or at least that's how it seems.
Both sides have mutually agreed to seek a trade for Moore, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter . Moore is entering the final year of a three-year, $30 million deal with the Colts and will turn 31 by Week 1. The corner appears to be the victim of a numbers game, since there are limited spots and the team already committed plenty of money to Sauce Gardner and Charvarius Ward .
Given the Colts' desire to give Justin Walley a bigger role, it makes sense to explore a trade for Moore. Indianapolis would likely receive some much-needed draft capital and the corner would get a change of scenery with a bigger role. "It's all good," Moore said in a text to ESPN's Stephen Holder .
"It's all love. " Moore is the latest in an offseason of change for the Colts, who already traded away Michael Pittman Jr. and Zaire Franklin , with Anthony Richardson also in search of a new home.
