4-star recruit Elijah Brown picks Kentucky Football
Wildcats continue recruiting surge in 2027 cycle with Alabama defensive lineman becoming latest addition.

Brown, a 6-3, 290-pound defensive lineman from Alabama, chose Kentucky over a competitive list of offers that included Texas, Texas A&M, USC, Tulane, and others. He is ranked as the No. 217 overall player, the No.
32 defensive lineman, and the No. 14 overall player in the state of Alabama in the 2027 class, according to 247 Sports. Brown visited Kentucky at the end of March, and that trip proved to be a key moment in his recruitment before ultimately announcing his commitment to the Wildcats.
His addition continues what has been a productive stretch for Kentucky on the 2027 recruiting trail, as the Wildcats have now secured multiple commitments this week alone while pushing their total class number to seven. Kentuckyโs 2027 commitments now include Larron Westmoreland (S), Ty Ashley (LB), Brady Hull (IOL), Matthias Burrell (IOL), Bryian Duncan Jr. (ATH), Miguel Wilson (CB), and Elijah Brown (DL).
