Big 12 football announces 2026 schedule of weekday games
The Big 12 released its 2026 slate of games set to take place on weekdays, with a myriad of intriguing Friday matchups dotting the slate.
The college football season is rapidly approaching, and, like the NFL, it is beginning to claim a presence on more days of the week as long as fans are tuning in, which shows no signs of slowing down, with ratings climbing every year. The Big 12 is the latest conference to announce its weekday games, giving fans another chance to binge on football. Like the Big Ten, the Big 12 is loading up on the Friday night television window to draw the most eyes.
This year, the conference will play nine weekday games. Eight of these games are on Fridays, with the finale being on Black Friday, while one matchup is on a Thursday, which is Thanksgiving. The matchups for the Big 12's weekday games are below: Friday, Sep.
