Brandon Ingram scored a season-high Thursday night as the Toronto Raptors cruised to their second consecutive win against the Miami Heat.
Former Duke standout Brandon Ingram carried the Toronto Raptors to a win Thursday night against the Miami Heat, scoring a season-high 38 points in the process. Ingram shot 66. 7% from three-point range, adding seven assists, seven rebounds and one steal as well.
The performance couldn't have come at a better time for the Raptors, as they sit in the midst of a tightly contested Eastern Conference playoff race. Following the game, Ingram spoke about his performance with the postseason right around the corner. "It's a good time to be in rhythm going into these playoffs.
We take it game by game, try to get better. " Ingram went on to say, "These last two games is a chance for us to have a focus and take things serious leading into the playoffs. " With the victory, Toronto remains in fifth place, holding the tie-breaker against the Atlanta Hawks.
