2 star WR prospects to have pre-draft visits with 49ers

The 49ers could be zeroing in on their top first-round draft targets.

The San Francisco 49ers ' 2026 draft plans appear to be quickly materializing. A day after an ESPN report indicated the 49ers' interested in drafting a first-round receiver, the team is reportedly meeting with two of the most-talked about pass-catchers for Day 1. According to The Athletic's Matt Barrows , Indiana's Omar Cooper Jr.

and Texas A&M's KC Concepcion are visiting the 49ers next week. This is a huge development considering that same ESPN report named Concepcion as a player to watch with the No. 27.

Now, it seems, Cooper Jr. can be looped into that group. Cooper Jr.

has earned Deebo Samuel comparisons from many this offseason, so it makes sense that the 49ers would potentially add him to the offense. In 2025, Cooper caught 69 passes for 937 yards and scored 13 touchdowns, also rushing three times for 74 yards with one touchdown on the ground. Concepcion is similar to Cooper in that both are the same build at 6-feet tall and between 196 and 200 pounds.
