Oak Grove's Caroline Bradley is once again named LSWA Miss Basketball
For the second year in a row, Oak Grove junior and LSU commit Caroline Bradley took home Farm Bureau Insurance/LSWA Miss Basketball honors.
OAK GROVE — The postseason honors continue to roll in for Oak Grove girls basketball's Caroline Bradley. After being Louisiana's Gatorade Player of the Year and the LSWA's Outstanding Player for Class 2A in back-to-back seasons, the Lady Tigers' junior center was named the Farm Bureau Insurance/LSWA Miss Basketball for the second year in a row. 4 steals per game last season and eclipsed 2,000 career points at Oak Grove. The Lady Tigers were LHSAA semifinalists in each of the last two seasons, finishing as state runners-up in 2025. With nearly the entire team returning for next season, Oak Grove aims on winning its first girls basketball championship in 67 years.
Bradley joins Pineville's Kisha James (1997-98), Capitol's Seimone Augustus (2001-02), Salmen's Kalani Brown (2014-15), Destrehan's Cara Ursin (2016-17) and Parkway's Mikaylah Williams (2022-23) as the sixth LHSAA girls basketball player to take home Miss Basketball honors in consecutive seasons.
