Packers Tailgate Tour of Wisconsin, Iowa begins on April 14
The Green Bay Packers Tailgate Tour departs April 14, visiting Wisconsin and Iowa with current and alumni players. Fundraisers planned along the way.
The annual Green Bay Packers Tailgate Tour, which takes current and former players to communities around Wisconsin, โ and this year, Iowa โ departs April 14 from Lambeau Field. The tour bus will visit Mount Pleasant, Janesville, Dyersville, Iowa, and Wisconsin Rapids for fundraising events. The Packers bus, which includes present and past Packers players, also makes surprise stops at other places along the route, such as schools, hospitals, businesses, retirement homes and more.
There was one change in the since the tour was announced in December. Current Packers Edgerrin Cooper and Evan Williams and alumni players James Jones, Randall Cobb, Desmond Bishop and Brandon Jackson will participate. Cobb replaces Colby Wooden, who was traded to the Indianapolis Colts in March.
To allow players and alumni to interact with as many fans as possible, there will be no formal autograph sessions. Ticketed fundraising events include: Habitat for Humanity of Racine & Kenosha Counties fundraising event at Campus Park in Mount Pleasant, with VIP reception at 5 p. m.
and tailgate party at 6 p. m. April 14.
