The Miami Heat are reportedly parting ways with guard Terry Rozier. The team is expected to release Rozier on Friday, hours before the deadline to waive a player on an expiring contract, per ESPN. Rozier, 32, has not played for the team this season after he was placed on leave by the NBA after he was arrested by the FBI as part of an alleged illegal-gambling scandal.
The Miami Heat are waiving guard Terry Rozier today, sources tell ESPN. Rozier had been placed on leave by the NBA since October after federal indictments into sports gambling activity. Miami will open up a roster spot.
