Wales centre Grady signs new Cardiff deal
Fit again after numerous injury set-backs, Wales centre Mason Grady has signed a "multi-season contract" to remain with Cardiff.

The 24-year-old signed a one-year deal last year but has now secured his long-term future at the Arms Park. Grady said: "I'm really happy to sign this long-term contract with Cardiff and I'm excited for what the future holds.
"This is the club I grew up supporting, I can remember fondly coming here as a kid and I have come through the pathway. I have a lot of good friends here and I believe we have huge potential. " Grady, who is 6ft 4in and 111kg and has also appeared on the wing, made his first team debut in 2020-21 and has made 59 first-team appearances since, despite suffering long-term injuries.
Now fit following a shoulder injury in pre-season, Grady has returned to make 11 first-team appearances this season, scoring three tries. He was also recalled by Wales to play the opening two games of the Six Nations, winning his 15th cap against France. "I've had some set-backs with injuries but feel like I'm getting back to my best and it's about consistently improving and putting my game on the pitch. " Cardiff head coach Corniel van Zyl said they were happy to keep an academy product at the club. "He is a local boy who has come through the ranks and cares deeply about the club," said the South African.
