After two weeks into the 2026 UFL season, there continues to be a former Kansas City Chiefs player influence throughout the league. During the Orlando Storm and Louisville Kings game in the fourth quarter, quarterback Jack Plummer connected with former Chiefs preseason wide receiver Elijhah Badger on a deep ball for 39 yards for a game-changing touchdown . Orlando pushes their record to a league-leading 2-0.

He had seven career 100-yard receiving games with the Florida Gators. In his final collegiate season, Badger finished with a team high of 803 receiving yards and four touchdowns. The performance was enough to earn an invite to Kansas City's training camp shortly after the draft.
"This is my dream, obviously, to make it to the NFL. So, every day going to work, it just feels good to be back with a team. Just feels good," said Badger to reporters at last year's rookie minicamp , "But like it was just work I put in, just coming in every day, you learn to play book, getting the playbook down fast, and just to do day by day and just make consistent.
