Western Kentucky RB George Hart III recently spoke with the Saints
Here's another running back on the New Orleans Saints' radar: Western Kentucky's George Hart III. He's been linked to the Saints, 49ers, and Broncos.
Each NFL offseason, there is a substantial break between the start of free agency and the next big event on the schedule, the draft. This leaves plenty of time for colleges and universities to schedule pro days and spread them out enough so that NFL scouts can attend as many as physically possible to evaluate the best prospects around the nation. This year has been no different, with the New Orleans Saints compiling their usual list of hundreds of players, this year being especially notable with how many have been reported.
One of the players on this extensive list is Western Kentucky running back George Hart III, whom the Saints met with recently for a short period of time. Hart has been stuck down the depth chart both at Arizona State and Western Kentucky, struggling to find substantial reps as a starter. That being said, he is one of the most successful backups in the country and has a lot to his game beyond just the stats.
2025 was his most productive season all-around, posting 70 rushes for 300 yards and 5 touchdowns, along with 9 receptions for 19 yards and a touchdown. Western Kentucky RB George Hart III spoke with the #49ers and briefly with the #Broncos and #Saints . pic.

Of his 345 snaps on offense this year, 112 of them were blocking reps, where he was not credited with allowing a single pressure or sack.
