Dreaded scenarios only a run of Celtic victories can avoid These would be dreaded scenarios, but it’s in our own hands to make that unlikely by winning all our remaining matches, starting tomorrow against St Mirren… Dundee v Celtic. With the top three sides all still very much in contention to be crowned as Scottish Champions, it’s more than a distinct possibility that all three clubs could enter the last day with chance of finishing top of the pile. Celtic of course will host current leaders Hearts, and the Rangers will travel to Falkirk, who could well have a Scottish Cup final outing very much on their mind, meaning the helicopter will be hovering between Glasgow and the Forth Valley. As a Celtic supporter, what would you want in that situation? I think we all know the answer to that one, and it although we never like to lose, on this occasion we could all live with it, even if it means finishing in third place. What if both Celtic and Hearts are one point ahead of the Rangers going into the final game.

It’s 0-0 at Celtic Park with ten minutes to play and they are 2-0 up at Falkirk. So either Hearts or Celtic need to score to win the league and deny the Rangers. How tense would that be!
