The 2026 IHSAA girls track season will feature dozens of electrifying athletes who will undoubtedly have a positive impact on their respective teams. Vote in the poll at the bottom of the article for who you believe will be crowned IndyStar Track Athlete of the Year! The poll will close Friday, April 17, at noon.
Moriah Henry, Zionsville The Zionsville junior started the season strong, capturing first place in the 60 meters and 200 against Brownsburg on March 5. Henry posted a time of 8. 04 in the 60 meters and 27.
11 in the latter. Henry finished eighth in the 100 meters at state last year with a time of 12. 10 and third in the 200 at sectionals and regionals.
Emmerson Williams, North Central Williams finished first in the 400 meters at the Brownsburg Individuals meet on March 7 and third in the 60 meters. The North Central senior followed with a fifth-place finish in the 60 at the Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference Indoor Championships on March 19. Williams, who finished ninth in the 200-meter dash at state last year, led her team to a state indoor record in the 4x200 on Saturday at the Hoosier State Relays.
