CFG are scouting in the Latin American market again as their latest interest has turned out to be Tomas Aranda, a highly-rated Argentine midfielder. Recently, Argentina manager Lionel Scaloni also praised the youngster, calling him a “great talent”, signalling a bright future for the teenager for club and country.

CFG monitoring Boca Juniors’ Tomas Aranda As reported by Argentine outlet Boca Noticias and relayed by Sport Witness , the City Football Group have set their eyes on 18-year-old Boca Juniors midfielder Aranda. Italian clubs Como and Parma are also interested with the goal of potentially signing the Argentina U20 international.
Aranda has a release cluase worth approximately £15 million. However, this is way off his actual market price according to Transfermarkt – which is approximately £700,000. Despite the asking price, any direct moves to the Etihad Stadium might not be in the offing as CFG might first test Aranda with other ventures across Europe.
