How can Notre Dame’s Kebba Njie enter the transfer portal with no eligibility?
Is there math involved here or just a legal retainer for this former Notre Dame basketball player?
The transfer portal for college basketball is heating up and the Irish have already seen six players leave Notre Dame for the portal in Cole Certa, Sir Mohammed, Jalen Haralson, Garrett Sundra, Markus Burton, and Ryder Frost. Now… you can make it SEVEN players (kind of). NEW: Notre Dame forward Kebba Njie has entered the NCAA transfer portal, @PeteNakos reports.

com/WWueUFA5Ip — Transfer Portal (@TransferPortal) April 9, 2026 Kebba Njie has no eligibility remaining to play college basketball. So how can he jump in the transfer portal to move to another school to play college basketball? I have some possible answers… Maybe he gets a lawyer.
Better yet — maybe he gets a lawyer with REALLY BIG hands. View Link Maybe he wants to transfer to Eastern Michigan, or Temple, or Boston College, or Oregon or something — so he’ll need someone more schooled in bird law. View Link I guess it doesn’t matter — like at all.
