The world-famous silverware will be on display at Marston's Hallgate Tavern in Cottingham between 12:00 and 15:00 BST on Saturday, before heading to The Apollo on Holderness Road, Hull, where it can be seen between 16:00 and 19:00. It is part of an initiative supported by TNT Sports.

Hull City, who were beaten 4-0 by Chelsea in the fourth round of this season's competition, recorded their best position in the competition in 2014, reaching the final, where they narrowly lost to Arsenal, who came from two goals down to win 3-2 after extra time. Football fans will be able to have their photograph taken with the trophy, organisers say [Getty Images] Ioannis Grammenos, general manager at the Hallgate Tavern, said: "Being able to bring such an iconic trophy right into the heart of the village is something we're really excited about. "Whether you're a lifelong football supporter, or a younger fan seeing the FA Cup up close for the first time, it's a brilliant chance to experience a piece of football history.

" As part of the tour, the trophy previously visited Port Vale FC, who also lost out to Chelsea, and is due to visit Coventry next weekend.
