SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) — The San Angelo Central High School girls gymnastics team has had a stranglehold on the regional championships for the better part of a quarter-century, and the Lady Cats plan to keep the streak going. The Lady Cats will be eyeing a 25th-straight regional title this weekend at Odessa Permian High School. The meet begins with compulsory routines on Friday, followed by optionals on Saturday.

The Central girls have won seven-straight state championships, but right now the Lady Cats are only focused on winning regionals again before turning their attention to the state meet at Permian on April 24-25.
