Rai shot 6-under par during Wednesday’s Par 3 Contest.
The nine-hole par-3 course plays adjacent to the main course and features the bold, intimidating slopes, forced carries over glistening water hazards, and perfect conditioning for which Augusta National is known. “The experience was phenomenal,” Rai said. “We shared the round with Patrick Reed and Jon Rahm, who had their family and kids out.
I was there with my wife as well. Yeah, just a lovely day. Definitely didn't expect to play quite as well as I did!

Only two players — Ben Crenshaw and Vijay Singh — have won the Masters after previously winning the Par 3 Contest. Crenshaw won the Par 3 in 1987, then claimed his second green jacket in 1995.
