Potential Browns draft target to hold private workout

Yahoo Sports

One of the top pass catchers in the draft plans to workout for NFL teams.

When it comes to pure talent, there is no question that Arizona State wide receiver Jordyn Tyson is the top of the class. The Cleveland Browns are in desperate need of adding a top-notch pass catcher to their wide receiver room, but Tyson comes with a lot of risk that the Browns might not be willing to take. Tyson has a long injury history in college, including a severe knee injury and a hamstring issue that has been plaguing him since October.

He missed time with a hamstring injury this year, and it returned, forcing him to sit out athletic testing at both the NFL Combine and Arizona State's pro day. This has been a giant red flag, and rumors have started circulating that Tyson could fall out of the first round because of his injury history. As a result of this speculation, Tyson is now set to hold an individual workout for teams on April 17th to try to rebuild his draft stock.

As good as Tyson is, his injury history is not something the Browns should ignore. This article originally appeared on Browns Wire: Jordyn Tyson to hold private workout
