Xander Schauffele is already looking at ways to improve his two-under-par 70 on day one at The Masters. The 32-year-old made five birdies and just three bogeys in an impressive first round at Augusta National.

Despite his solid start, Schauffele has already thought about how he is going to card a lower score on day two. “Nice to finish with a birdie on 17 and to get away with a par on 18. Overall, decent start. ” Looking ahead to the second round at Augusta National , Schauffele intends to play more cautiously and take fewer risks.
