FSU extends offer to wide receiver target from North Carolina
Florida State has extended an offer to 2027 three-star wide receiver Namajay Thompson out of Shelby, North Carolina.
Florida State is still searching for its first wide receiver commitment in the 2027 recruiting cycle. On Thursday, they hosted three-star wide receiver Namajay Thompson for the first time, and they extended the 6-foot, 185-pounder a scholarship offer. ," Thompson announced on social media . Thompson has been a productive player for two consecutive seasons. As a sophomore at Shelby High School in 2024, Thompson hauled in 46 passes for 746 yards and seven touchdowns.
He registered 53 receptions for 865 yards and 13 touchdowns as a junior at Crest High School. Thompson also ran a punt back for a score. It's not just the football field where Thompson shows his athletic talent.
He competes in track and field as well, and he even placed fourth in the 55-meter dash at the North Carolina 1A/2A state indoor meet as a sophomore. Thompson is the No. 538 player nationally and the No.
