Report: 49ers aren't looking at this key position in Round 1

A lot of mock drafts might be wrong if this report about the 49ers' true first-round target is correct.

What the San Francisco 49ers do with the No. 27 overall pick of the 2026 NFL draft will play a role in determining what the team thinks of itself heading into this upcoming season. The 49ers could add a dynamic playmaker on offense or find some depth at positions of need on either side of the ball.

One position ESPN draft expert Matt Miller doesn't think San Francisco will target in the first round is offensive line.
