Michigan basketball has lost a second deep reserve player to the transfer portal in as many days. Malick Kordel , a backup center, intends to put his name in the transfer portal, a person with knowledge of the situation told the Detroit Free Press on condition of anonymity because it isn't official. Kordel met with the coaching staff on Thursday, April 9 and it appears after the meeting he made the decision to enter the portal.
The news broke about an hour after the Wolverines landed a commitment from Tennessee transfer big man J. P. Estrella.
