Vikings named dream pairing for 2026 RB prospect in fantasy football
In terms of fantasy football, one 2026 NFL Draft prospect is considered a "dream fit" with the Minnesota Vikings.
As we draw closer to the 2026 NFL Draft, trends are starting to set in. We are seeing the same players mocked to the same teams, or positions of need being targets, but with different players in those spots. But there are always players who fall in the draft, or teams trade up to get someone they love.
These moves also have a lasting impact on fantasy football. For the Minnesota Vikings, per Gary Davenport of Bleacher Report , there is one prospect in this draft class who would be a "dream scenario" for fantasy football fans, but also for Vikings fans as well. That dream prospect for Davenport is Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love.
Love would be a clear upgrade over Aaron Jones Sr. and Jordan Mason, but there is a slim-to-none chance Love is available at 18. It's not outside the realm of possibilities that Minnesota *could* trade up to get Love, should he start to fall.
But, are we sure that trading away draft capital, while having questions at the quarterback position, for a running back is the best move? This article originally appeared on Vikings Wire: Fantasy Football" Jeremiyah Love would be perfect for the Vikings
