Just days ahead of spring high school football happening in the state of Florida, the Niceville Eagles have found who will lead the program heading into practices. According to the Northwest Florida Daily News’ Seth Stringer on Thursday, longtime assistant Adron Robinson has been promoted to become Niceville’s next head football coach. Robinson is also the head coach of the school’s girls flag football team as well.

Congrats to Adron Robinson on his hire as new Niceville football HC. No was one is deserving. Helluva coach.

An even better man. — Seth Stringer (@SethSnwfdn) April 9, 2026 Robinson replaces Robert Morgan, who stepped down as the program’s head coach in late March. Morgan came to Niceville as a well decorated head coach from the Peach State as the former Marietta Blue Devils’ head coach compiled 224 victories (.

716 winning percentage) along with eight final four appearances and three state championships overall. Niceville last off-season moved in quickly to replace former head coach Grant Thompson , who owned an overall record of 64-10 during his time with the Eagles, including two Final Four appearances over the span of six seasons. Now the program will move ahead with Robinson guiding the team as the Eagles are slated to return 2027 three-star linebacker Noah Renes and 2029 standout running back Jakobe Gilyard .
