Is Odell Beckham Jr. worth a look from the New England Patriots? Beckham's anticipated return to play has created an air of excitement over what the former Super Bowl champion potentially has to give to an NFL team at this juncture of his career.
The 33-year-old wide receiver put on a show at the Fanatics Flag Football Classic on March 21. He also generated excitement from a workout video that surfaced on social media earlier in April. However, the jury is out on Beckham.
He went for 565 receiving yards in 2023 with the Baltimore Ravens — the last time he played 14 or more games in a season. How much of the immeasurable talent that made him a household name for years he has left is uncertain. The Patriots ’ need at wide receiver calls for a 1,000-yard contributor.
Beckham Jr. was that for five of his first six years in the league, but he has not achieved that feat since 2019. New England’s next best route to take is in the 2026 NFL Draft with a top prospect at the position.
