The Baltimore Orioles were a team that focused on retooling the starting rotation a bit. They re-signed Zach Eflin, but struck a deal with Chris Bassitt, and acquired Shane Baz in a trade with the Tampa Bay Rays . Unfortunately, the club lost a big piece recently, as Eflin underwent Tommy John surgery and won't be ready to return until next season.

However, the club does have a good stable of arms waiting in the wings. Albert Suarez took over for Eflin when he originally went down, while Brandon Young was recently called up to fill a starting role.
