Todd Bowles isn't getting involved with Baker Mayfield's 'beef'

Todd Bowles is not involved with the 'beef' between Baker Mayfield and Kevin Stefanski.

The arrival of Kevin Stefanski to the NFC South has poured gas on the rivalry between him and Baker Mayfield. Mayfield started it by going to social media and defending himself when it was proposed that he had "failed" Stefanski. While those two are having their own issues, the Bucs leader who remains in place is staying out of it all.

Bucs head coach Todd Bowles spoke to Exhibit News Network's Josina Anderson and told her that Mayfield and Stefanski would have to decide it on the field. “I think that’s something that they have to figure out from that standpoint, since we can’t have a boxing match where they get in the ring with each other and knock each other out. You know we’re going to back our guy Baker, and I’m sure they’re going to back their coach as well.

It’s a division game, so it’s already going to be a tough-fought, hard-fought game, so it just adds to it. ” Of course, the Bucs will play the Falcons twice in 2026, so they will be able to both get one up on each other or get revenge. All while Bowles is seemingly going to focus on what he can control while still backing his quarterback.
