The CHL has revealed the first 10 names for their Top 50 Players of the Last 50 Years list
The CHL has started revealing its Top 50 Players of the Last 50 Years list. The league revealed numbers 41 to 50, which included a former Vancouver Canucks forward. That forward was Cam Neely, who is from Comox, BC and is a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame.
Before being drafted by the Canucks, Neely spent two seasons in the WHL with the Portland Winter Hawks. He was selected ninth overall in 1983 after helping Portland capture a Memorial Cup. Neely played 201 games with the Canucks, scoring 51 times and recording 104 points before being dealt to the Boston Bruins .
