Matthew Driscoll was the head coach at North Florida for 17 years and served as Kansas State's interim this past season. Now, he joins the Wolfpack.

After an ill-fated stint in his one year at Kansas State, former Wildcats interim head coach Matthew Driscoll has landed on his feet. Per 247Sports' Cory Smith, Driscoll is heading to Raleigh to join NC State's staff under new head coach Justin Gainey. Driscoll, who was the longtime coach at North Florida, left that role last offseason to join Kansas State as the associate head coach under Jerome Tang.

After Tang was fired 25 games into the season, Driscoll was elevated to interim coach. He ultimately went 2-5 down the stretch as the Wildcats finished the season 12-20, and he was not retained on new coach Casey Alexander's staff.
