Sean Miller and the Texas Longhorns men's basketball team have lost sophomore forward Nic Codie to the NCAA Transfer Portal.

After the Texas Longhorns remarkable Sweet 16 run in the NCAA Tournament, sophomore Nic Codie seemingly announced he was staying at UT . But two weeks later, the forward has entered the NCAA transfer portal. Codie is one of the players that bridged the gap between former head coach Rodney Terry and current coach Sean Miller.

He played in 43 games at Texas, averaging 3. 0 points per game, 2. 1 rebounds and 0.

5 assists. The Dallas native's best stint with Texas was in this year's March Madness. In three games, he scored 17 points and had eight rebounds.
