Memphis OT Travis Burke says he met with Falcons' entire staff during pre-draft visit

The Atlanta Falcons are continuing to work through their pre-draft visits ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft later this month. The team has already been linked to a handful of prospects, including Georgia wide receiver Zadarius Branch, Missouri edge Zion Young and Memphis offensive tackle Travis Burke. While Branch has been a popular projection due to Atlanta's lack of depth at wide receiver, fans should not sleep on Burke.

The 6-foot-9, 315-pound offensive lineman could be a potential long-term replacement for right tackle Kaleb McGary, who announced his retirement on Wednesday. McGary missed all of the 2025 season due to a knee injury and now steps away for good after seven NFL seasons. The Falcons didn't take long to find a replacement, though, signing veteran Jawaan Taylor to a reported one-year, $6 million contract.

Since Taylor is likely just a one-year stopgap, don't be surprised to see the team add an offensive tackle in the draft. Burke is an intriguing fit, and the Falcons are one of two teams to meet with the projected Day 3 pick. The Memphis offensive tackle said he met with Atlanta's entire staff during his pre-draft visit.

"Yeah, I’ve completed visits with the Titans and Falcons already," Burke told SI's Justin Melo . "I’m going everywhere else you mentioned I’m going. I met with the entire staff [Titans and Falcons].
