Caleb Douglas might give the Eagles the possession receiver they have been hunting for quite some time.

This probably won't come as a shock to some, but the Philadelphia Eagles love big-bodied wide receivers and tight ends who can run. There's Alshon Jeffery. There was the Tyree Jackson experiment.

Johnny Wilson stands at 6-foot-6 and tips the scales at 228 pounds, and now, there's news that they've shown interest in another of those massive targets. Houston Texans reporter Aaron Wilson recently provided an update . Add former Texas Tech Red Raiders wide receiver Caleb Douglas to the list of players the Eagles are scheduled to meet with for a predraft visit.

Last season, he racked up 54 receptions. 846 yards receiving and seven touchdowns were the result of his efforts. As a result, he earned Second-teamย All-Big 12ย honors.

He would give Philadelphia's offensive coaching staff an added dimension for its attack, a possession receiver who provides a reliable target on third down and in the red zone. That's what they were searching for when they added Tyree Jackson. That was part of the thinking when they added Johnny Wilson in 2024.
