FSU staffer leaves for job with Big Ten program

FSU football's Marianna McCourt, the programs coordinator of recruiting operations, has been hired away by the UCLA Bruins.

The UCLA Bruins have hired another member of Florida State 's support staff, according to FootballSCoop . This time, it is Marianna McCourt, who served as FSU's coordinator of recruiting operations and will be UCLA's director of recruiting operations. The Seminoles hired McCourt in May of 2025, and she spent under a year in Tallahassee.

She is joining former FSU general manager Darrick Wray, who will have the same role for new UCLA head coach Bob Chesney. McCourt graduated from Ole Miss in 2025, where she served as a student assistant for on-campus recruiting. She confirmed the news on social media , saying she was "Excited to call Westwood my new Home!

" McCourt helped FSU sign the No. 19 recruiting class during the 2026 recruiting cycle. The group consists of 34 prospects, the biggest of the Mike Norvell era.

They landed 12 four-star recruits, with cornerback Chuck Kennonk being the only top 100 prospect in the 247Sports composite.
