But with Soto sidelined and top prospect Carson Benge struggling, the team’s outfield depth is looking a little thin. And that could lead the team to promote a veteran it signed late in the offseason. The team signed 12-year MLB veteran Tommy Pham to a minor-league deal late last month, reuniting with a player who logged 62 hits for the Mets in the 2023 campaign.
