The Panthers are reportedly high on one of the most intriguing pass-catching prospects in the 2026 draft.

The Carolina Panthers are reportedly eyeing one of the most intriguing pass-catching prospects of the 2026 NFL Draft. ESPN draft insiders Jordan Reid and Matt Miller dished out some of their latest intel from around the league on Thursday morning. And according to Reid, the Panthers are "high" on Oscar Delp—a 6-foot-5 tight end from the University of Georgia.

Delp, a Cumming, Ga. native, played four seasons for the Bulldogs—totaling 70 receptions for 854 yards and nine touchdowns. While his production may not jump off the stat sheet, as he posted just 261 receiving yards and one score this past year, Delp does have the explosiveness and yards-after-catch ability general manager Dan Morgan is looking for .

Carolina could certainly use a greater receiving threat in their tight end room, which hasn't produced a 500-yard season since 2019. Reid also noted that Delp could go as high as the second round, where the Panthers currently hold the 51st overall selection. Follow @ThePanthersWire on Twitter/X for more Panthers content.
