ESPN predicts Makai Lemon will be the savior of Browns' offense
The Cleveland Browns desperately need a high-impact playmaker on offense, and Makai Lemon is the perfect fit
Makai Lemon is an elite playmaker. He can be placed in any environment and elevate that offense. In a recent mock NFL draft, Makai Lemon landed in a destination where his services are greatly needed.
In the combined 3-round mock draft by analyst Matt Miller, Mel Kiper, Field Yates, and Jordan Reid, Trojan Makai Lemon goes off the board very early in the first round. Matt Miller has Lemon slated to go to the Cleveland Browns , and here is his explanation: "My top-ranked wide receiver in the class goes to the Browns, who are undergoing a youth movement at the skill positions. Lemon can create space for himself and knows how to vary his routes.
" The Cleveland Browns had one of the worst receiver rooms in the NFL last season, and they badly need to upgrade that room. Getting a versatile receiver that provides nothing but skills that benefit his quarterback, Makai Lemon, would be huge. If Shedeur Sanders is the guy to start this season, Makai Lemon would be the perfect addition to help him play to his highest potential.
The Browns need high-level playmakers, more players like Harold Fannin Jr. , and I think Lemon can be that early on, too. This article originally appeared on Trojans Wire: NFL draft - USC's Makai Lemon could be missing piece for Browns
