‘I’m anticipating a tough man’: Tyson Fury prepared for weekend showdown with Arslanbek Makhmudov

Tyson Fury makes his comeback to the ring this weekend on Netflix.

Here, Fury would share his perspective on his mindset heading into the fight, the potential for a long-awaited showdown against Anthony Joshua , and what he thought of Derek Chisora vs Deontay Wilder .

Check out some of what he had to say below. Fury on his thoughts on facing Makhmudov “I’ve seen his fight with Dave Allen, 12 round good fight. Dave’s obviously a very tough guy, he’s fought everybody…I’ve seen every [one of Makhmudov’s fights] that was of any importance…He’s definitely a dangerous f-cker, yeah.

He’s got 19 knockouts within the first three rounds of his 20-odd fight career. He was once ranked #1 in the WBC and I was supposed to fight him in 2023 and then the fight come up and it never happened. So it’s happening now, three years later each.

“I don’t underestimate no man…Whoever gets in there, they’re all tough, they’re all coming in there for victory. They’re all difficult men…I’m anticipating a tough man but it’s just unfortunate for him he’s got to go up against a legend in myself — a living legend. ” On reports of him facing Anthony Joshua later this year “I’ve heard about it but it’s all pie in the sky.
