The Blissfield boys varsity bowling team continues to receive accolades following their historic "Royal Sweep" of the state titles

ADRIAN — The Blissfield boys varsity bowling team continues to receive accolades following its historic "Royal Sweep" of the state titles. On Wednesday afternoon, the team was invited to the county chambers for a formal recognition ceremony led by District 7 Representative Kevon Martis. During the session, Representative Martis read aloud a formal proclamation honoring the team for securing the first state team bowling title in Blissfield school history.

The proclamation also highlighted the individual achievement of Alex Kudlac, who became the program's first individual state champion just one day after the team’s victory at Taylor’s Skore Lanes. The event was attended by Blissfield High School Principal Michael Bader and Assistant Principal and Athletic Director Eric Schmidt. The ceremony served as a formal acknowledgement of the hard work, dedication and sportsmanship displayed by the athletes throughout their championship run.

"It was a proud moment for the team to be recognized at the county level," Blissfield head coach John Harden said. "These young men have put in an incredible amount of work, and seeing that effort celebrated by our county leadership is a testament to the impact they’ve made on this community.
