Chart shows how much draft capital Rams have spent on offense and defense since 2020

The Rams rank near the bottom of the league in draft capital used on offense and defense since 2020.

The Los Angeles Rams have a reputation of saying “F them picks” because of how frequently they trade away selections for veteran players. Even though that has been a hallmark of Les Snead’s time at the helm, they’ve drafted a lot of players over the years. They just don’t usually come early in the draft.

Warren Sharp put together two charts to show how much draft capital each team has used on offense and defense since 2020. Unsurprisingly, the Rams rank near the bottom on both lists. According to Sharp, the Rams have used the second-lowest amount of draft capital on offense since 2020.

Only the Bills have used less on that side of the ball. The Chiefs and Eagles are both in the bottom-four, too, which is ironic because all four teams have had some of the best offenses in the last six years. total draft capital spent on offensive players since 2020 pic.

They've used early-round picks on the likes of Jared Verse, Braden Fiske, Byron Young and Kobie Turner in recent years, which has made a substantial difference defensively.
