DeChambeau is in better shape to win The Masters than Spieth, but the 2015 champion can never be ruled out at Augusta National. The LIV Golf player has won the last two events he has played in, while the PGA Tour star is without a victory since April 2022.

However, Augusta National always seems to bring the best out of Jordan Spieth , and he will be relishing the chance to contend once again at The Masters this year. He just needs to tighten up his spin control on his wedges if he is to get over the line and finally acquire a green jacket.

Butch Harmon has tipped DeChambeau to win The Masters this year and it would be a surprise if he didn’t at least contend. However, Brandel Chamblee believes there is one specific reason why the 32-year-old American could struggle at Augusta. Brandel Chamblee comments on Bryson DeChambeau’s Masters hopes Spieth has already highlighted how difficult Augusta National will play this week.

Due to the firm and fast conditions, those who hit the ball high with plenty of spin should perform well. DeChambeau is definitely one of those players, but he still doesn’t have the game to win The Masters according to Chamblee. Chamblee responded when asked whether he believes DeChambeau is close to finally figuring out how to win at Augusta National.
